20 Years Of Castlevania
The Belmont clan has endured a long, troublesome past. For centuries they have been engaged in an epic struggle against Dracula, and the demons of the night. To celebrate Castlevania’s 20th anniversary, 1up’s Kurt Kalata has written the ultimate guide to the history of Castlevania. The chronology of the series hopscotches back and forth in time, so it’s a great read to see how Konami has been filling in gaps and creating new ones along the way. The Castevania series has always been a excellent example of gothic architecture, sweeping melodies, and pretty boys with big whips. Watch out if you ever see a Belmont walking around, he’ll turn your flesh pink before you can scream.
