Coming Soon: Konductra
A good puzzle game has a long shelf life. Think about how often you’ve played Tetris, Bust a Move, or Puyo Puyo. They don’t age like other games. Nintendo has their hands full with many great puzzle games for their DS system. Soon they will add one more. Konductra by indie developer oeFun is coming on August 1st and looks very promising.
Konductra was cleverly designed to play with the stylus. The player places colored tiles on a grid. By lining up similar colors, you create conduits from one edge of the grid to the other. To remove the blocks, slide the stylus from one edge, through the colored tiles, to the other edge of the grid. Then presto, the tiles are cleared.
There are four different modes of play, Task, Score, VS. CPU, and VS. Human. In verses mode the objective is to clear tiles quickly to send them to your opponents board. This title will also take advantage of Nintendo’s Wi-Fi Connection for multiplayer gaming on the net.
OeFun developed this game without a publisher, they shopped the game around, snagged O3 Entertainment as a publisher and here it comes.
So get your stylus ready for some hot puzzle action, because here comes Konductra.
