High School Embraces Gaming

Wonderful! I am very happy to hear that lower institutions are starting to embrace gaming. A high school in Dayton, OH, Dayton Technology Design High School, has decided to add gaming to its curriculum. I wish I was in high school, again…k’ maybe not.

This is incredible as this high school, and others like it, will begin breeding a younger generation of game designers and possibly a new wave of creativity in the gaming industry will follow in the coming years. It will be interesting to see what comes of this with colleges already offering degrees in game design.

As for me, I am looking for an art school to go to so I can receive formal training in design – I’d like to be a concept artist one day, law school doesn’t do it for me.

...and yes I know better than to go to Westwood College.
