Nintendo Ain't Nothing But A Wii Tease
Cagey Nintendo puts out this press release on their site, in an attempt to drive us all crazy:
“The fourth quarter of 2006 will herald a new era for Nintendo with the launch of its remarkable new Wiiび｢ home video game system. But that’s not what this news item is about! How could that be, you ask? Perhaps the secret to the launch information for Wii is somehow encoded in the text of this news item. You might want to pore over it for a few hours before staying up all night to debate phraseology and comma placement with your friends online. Or maybe it’s all just a scam to get you to read the other games we have launching this fall. One of the two.”
They then go on to list their release list of their upcoming DS titles as follows:
Oct. 9: Clubhouse Gamesび｢
Oct. 16: Nintendogsび｢ (Dalmatian)
Oct. 23: Magical Starsignび｢
Oct. 30: Pok?ｩmonｬﾆ Ranger
Oct. 30: Children of Manaｬﾆ
Nov. 6: Elite Beat Agentsび｢
Nov. 13: Yoshi’s Islandび｢ 2
Dec. 4: Custom Roboび｢ Arena
Dec. 4: Kirbyび｢ Squeak Squad
Then, just to tease us even more, they end with this…
“And, for Nintendo GameCubeび｢ owners, The Legend of Zeldaｬﾆ: Twilight Princess will be available for you this fall. An enhanced version also will be a launch title for Wii. That will all happen on てｶ Oh look, we’re out of space.”
GRRRR! I am filled with fury…

I would have to assume one of those dates listed is the official release date… I’m gonna say it will most likely be Nov 13 as there is the biggest gap between the 13th and Dec 4… Just a guess though.
