2. The Cho Aniki Brothers – Cho Aniki Series
Literally translated, Cho Aniki means Super Big Brother and these Super Big, Super Gay brothers have been making the game scene in Japan since 1992 and have no less than 6 games under their wrestling belts. The game basically deals with our titular heroes, Samson and Adon, a pair of muscle bound, thong wearing, very “close” brothers with holes in the tops of their heads which shoot out white beams and apparently grow flowers. (wtf?) With the exception of one RPG card game, the Cho Aniki Series were all side scrolling shooters featuring a bizarre collection of enemies which were usually naked or wearing thongs and prancing about like a some intergalactic gay bar patron. In the last of the series for PS2, The Legend of Holy Protein, you actually play a blob of “Holy Protein” (read:sperm) who is accompanied by our brothers through space blasting enemies wherever they can find them. I could really go on and on about these two but instead I will point you to a I-Mockery’s Sexual Moments in Video Game History where the author has put together quite a reference of Cho Aniki resource. I will warn you though that the author’s tone constantly reminds you that he is NOT gay. Got it? He is NOT gay. He just spent many many hours researching the games and finding MANY pictures of half naked muscle men to accompany his very long article and even includes some desktop wallpapers for you. He is NOT GAY!
