YouTube Pushes 100 Million Videos a Day
The world wide web is mad for YouTube. Users just can’t get enough of this video streaming giant. YouTube is now reporting more than 100 million videos downloaded per day. Founded in February 2005 it’s become the leading video download site, and it shows no signs of slowing.
BBC News reports:
(YouTube’s) videos account for 60% of all videos watched online in the US. It has almost 20 million visitors to the site each month, according to Nielsen/NetRatings.
This is impressive considering the bandwith generated in a year and a half. Thanks to YouTube, we can show you rare gameplay footage and other bits of hilarity. For users on the go, YouTube now offers a mobile upload feature. So upload those videos from your phone, and be the coolest kid on the block.
