Banjo Tooies' Hidden Agenda
I must say that for all the talk about how Nintendo has a very stringent policy on what does or does not go into their games, it’s not very hard to find naughty things hidden in many of their titles. One such example comes to us via reader Doug R. who writes:
“An aerial view from the games’ landscape says it all”
He then graciously included a link to a video of some gameplay from Rare’s Banjo Tooie. Do YOU see anything subliminal going on here?
Then while looking at that one, I saw the title of this one Jolly Rogers’ Lagoon and decided to check it out, since I had heard somewhere that the character of Jolly Roger, a butt pirate frog who runs the local bar, was gay. We only get a small glimpse of Roger here, but his menu leaves nothing to the imagination…
Holy mother of….Did that really say what I think it said? If anyone has anything to add about Jolly Rogers sexuality, I’d love to hear about it…
