Batman Sequel Announced
Batman: The Dark Knight
The sequel to the supercharged movie Batman Begins has been announced. The new movie will be titled Batman: The Dark Knight. Christian Bale will reprised his role as Batman/ Bruce Wayne. The gay cowboy that we all love, Heath Ledger has signed on to play the Joker. I am a little worried about this casting choice. How can anyone follow up Jack Nicholson’s 1989 performance? Heath Ledger is an amazing actor but he has big shoes to fill. Christopher Nolan is set to direct the sequel. Nolan directed the first film and said that “He can’t wait to see two such formidable actors as Christian and Heath face off with each other as Batman and the Joker.”
