Final Fantasy 7: Dirge of Cerberus Released Today
Aug 15, 2006, Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cereberus is on its way to stores and is available for purchase on the interweb!! So for your entertainment, I bring you the intro to Dirge of Cerberus with starts off, rather explosively, in Nibelheim…YAY I remembered the name of that place! /flex Gorgeous cutscenery ensues… Hopefully, Dirge turns out to be at least as good as Devil May Cry (I really enjoyed that game).

UPDATE: Well, according to a few reviews…Dirge seems to be little more than average. Too bad. Then again, whenever Square/Square-Enix have deviated from RPGs in the past, the result usually was never all that spectacular. Oh well, I’m still going to give it a shot.

Well, if the reviews are to be trusted, Dirge is a pile of crap.
Please remember that a number of improvements and changes in the gameplay were done for the North American version. In other words, reviews of the original Japanese version are defunct.
Also, another game with Steve Blum hits the shelves…
I’m not talking about the Japanese reviews.
did you know that the singer on the first preview (haven’t seen the others yet…) is gackt…..a great japanese singer who once looked just like squall (final fantasy VIII)......no need to say that he is damn cute too…..
