Fruit Brute Birthday Aftermath...
Hi all! Back again after a wonderful day off. I wanted to thank everyone for their well wishes and special thanks to the boys for keeping everything going yesterday while I was gone on what seems to be a very slow news weekend!
I did my best to do everyone proud with my decidedly geek-fest birthday. I started the day with a run down to the Arcade Machine Auction with friends Greg and Josh. the offerings weren’t the greatest this time around, although for me, the hilight was seeing the Super Mario Brothers pinball machine.
After that it was off to the Best Buy to purchase my brand spankin new XBox 360 and a copy of Dead Rising which was made possible by a grant from my parents and my wonderful boyfriend. Then upon returning home, imagine my delight when Toots walked through the door bearing a secong wireless controller and a copy of DOA4 courtesy my buds at work. Then we all sat around and played until our fingers hurt.
As an added bonus I was even presented with Dreamcast (from pal Roger) and the most aweswomest T-shirt ever featuring my namesake (a gift from Toots). So all in all it was a rip roaring, geek infested, game playing, ourageous cheesecake eating, Frank West running around in a pink dress beating zombies with a purse watching, amazingly awesome birthday..
