Japanese Mario Brothers Comedy Sketch
I recently stumbled upon this hilarious Japanese skit about Super Mario Brothers. This must have been taped shortly after the Famicom hit overseas. I’m not sure what’s going on, but their wacky antics are universal. A bunch of screaming girls play what looks like paper rock scissors to have their turn with Mario. The guy, naturally impatient, jumps into the screen and runs around the the first level of Super Mario Brothers dressed as Mario. It’s a scream. Do the Mario!
