Amy Sedaris is back again as the ex- junkie, sexually confused, and all around loser Jerri Blank. Jerri has been released from detention and arrives home to discover her daddy is it in a coma. This leads her on a mission to awaken her daddy by going back to high school for a second time.
The movie is a prequel to the popular Comedy Central series. There are plenty of crude jokes, gay references, and quick one liners to keep you laughing. The storyline is weak but the acting and facial expressions of Amy Sedaris make up for it. There are several great cameos by some of Hollywood?Ĵs biggest names which include: Allison Janey, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Kristen Johnston, Matthew Broderick, Sarah Jessica Parker and Ian Holm. I recommend watching this movie if you want to add some hilarious new vernacular to your insult list. There is a pinup model of Amy Sedaris in Jerri?Ĵs locker. Keep your eyes peeled for the small stuff. Strangers really do have the best candy.
