PS3 STILL Not in Production

Heh, figures after posting something positive about Sony, regarding their online network, something big-nasty-negative surfaces. Kaz “Riiiiidge Racer” Hirai has come out to say that the PS3 is still not in production. Kaz, by the way, is president of Sony Computer Entertainment of America…and he is very famous for his “Ridge Racer” proclamation.
Hirai said there is no set date for when the production of the PS3 will commence…but it has to be soon if they intend to have at least 2 million out the door and ready to go for the already troubled system. Gamasutra reports he anticipates that “less than 700,000 units per territory, per major territory between launch and the end of the year.” Jeebus, it wiily will be redrum all over the place to get these abominations when they are unleashed….
With all the problems Sony is having, do you really think they will be able to surmount the 360’s headstart coupled with the Wii’s low low price? Plus…the Wii is way cuter than the bloated and over-serious PS3.
