Red Steel Redesigned Sword Combat

The hack’em slash’em goodness In Red Steel just got a whole lot better. Ubisoft has confirmed that the swordplay will be realtime and there will be no load times. The control scheme has been redesigned so that controller movements are mimicked inside of the game, instead of predetermined sword moves.
It looks like Ubisoft is going for total immersion on this one. Red Steel certainly is shaping up to be a really great launch title.

AWESOME. The sword moves being pre-set was the one thing that disappointed me when I first read the preview in GI. Looks like I’ll have to pre-order Red Steel now.
