The Proud, The Geeky, The Tattooed
A while back, BMEzine started a geek tattoos gallery, and naturally there are a fair number of video game tattoos in the mix. Now, I have heard a lot of geek tattoo bashing going on, and I would have to say in general, a lot of them are poorly executed, but being heavily tattooed myself, I am certainly not one to judge anyone’s choice in body adornment. My Ralph Wiggum and Li’l Stoney tattoos might be viewed by some as a bit off the wall and not exactly what one would call “manly”, but it certainly beats some Grim Reaper with a stars and stripes robe carrying a rebel flag.
With that unseemly rant behind us, I give to you what I think is a pretty freaking sweet Link tattoo. (The beginning of an entire Nintendo sleeve apparently) While I personally haven’t gotten a video game piece yet, if it was done as well as this one, I would certainly consider it. Let’s see, what should I get…perhaps a full back tattoo of Princess Peach…
