The Tingle Factor
The delightfully dandy Florian over at Kotaku has posted this article on the Great Tingle Debate. We apparently struck a chord with people by naming Tingle the #1 Gayest Video Game Character. But we are still left with the burning question..IS TINGLE REALLY GAY? Or his he just “silly” and “childlike” a la Michael Jackson as some readers have suggested?
My answer is: Who cares if he’s really gay or not, the point is he embodies a spirit of gayness that we all love or love to hate…or both.
But, apparently Nintendo wants to know what Americans think of Tingle and have launched a poll members only on their website to gage our reaction to the wee li’l sprite. Is this a result of Tingle’s number one status? It would be nice to think that Nintendo is watching our little site, and if they are…
Nintendo, we here at GayGamer.net officially BEG you to please release Tingle’s Freshly Picked Rose Colored Rupee Land here in the states. All six of us here will buy one plus at least ten people we know, surely that should be enough to make your money back! WE LOVE TINGLE!
