A Little Wii Love From Capcom
Sengoku Basara (or known in North America as Devil Kings) is coming to the Wii! The remake of the PS2 title with updated graphics and controls is already baking in the oven, and is tentatively set for release sometime in 2007. Furthermore, Capcom announced that future installments of Sengoku Basara will be developed for the PS2 and Wii; with no current plans to expand the franchise to any other next generation console.
Sengoku Basara is your typical historical fantasy hack & slash like Koei’s Dynasty Warriors, but what makes this franchise special is that it is made by the collective effort of the Resident Evil and Devil May Cry teams. I pray every night that Capcom USA will localize future installments of the game so I can finally control Arslan’s perky purple pirate pants.
