Aquaria
Derek Yu has been working on a beautifully handcrafted independent title called Aquaria. Follow the adventures of Naija as she explores the vast realms of Aquaria, unearthing the history of Aquaria and the secrets of ancient beings lost to the tides of time. The game features an open ended action-oriented, non-linear 2D side scrolling gameplay. The player controls Naija easily without an hub obstructing the gameplay.
The game has some truly striking hand drawn art, so check it out when it hits early 2007.
