Canadian Wii Launch Details
Whilst sipping a cup of earl grey in my wing of the GG Castle that extends over to the Canadian boarder (I don’t have a green card yet, you see); The Canada Postmaster dropped by my house to exchange poutine recipes and left me with my weekly periodicals.
I nearly gagged on my Bunnykins Royal Doulton saucer with excitement as I glanced over the Zeller’s flyer that solicits a bundle offer for the Nintendo Wii. To get in on the pre-order madness, you must purchase the core system for $279.95 and any two games at regular price. Each store has limited quantities for the promotion, and the offer expires next friday. Hopefully eager parents and Ebayers will be too busy fighting over Tickle Me Elmo TMX to make distribution of the million launch consoles a smooth and easy ride.

Software is also available for pre-order on the Future Shop website with most titles retailing at $69.99 Canadian.
Please note the price on the DS Lite in the advertisement is after a $10 rebate using Zeller’s points. However, it is on sale this week for $139.97 Canadian.

Toys R Us has had the same pre-order deal for a while now, with the addition of having to purchase a second remote. Don’t think they had an expiry date for it either.
