Dead Rises in Japan
While we’ve been able to play Dead Rising for months already, poor citizens of Japan had to wait until today to dress Frank up in mumu dresses and hack zombies with a pylon. Capcom of Japan has celebrated this event with fashions of their own.
If you fill out a survey on the official Japanese Dead Rising website, you could be one of ten lucky people to win a Dead Rising T-shirt. This is no ordinary T-shirt you see. Prior to this promotion the shirt was only given as gifts to staff members that worked on the title. But if you’re not one of the really lucky ones, you still have a chance to win posters and leaflets. While a promotional leaflet as a prize may sound silly, Capcom publishes the most entertaining leaflets available. Trust me.
As a added bonus, a release party (which should be happening right now) is being held at Roppongi nightclub “Club Core”. The event called “Zombie Paradixe” will have Xbox 360 demo booths available and I’m assuming some form of Cosplay. If you hurry, you may still be able to make it. There is a 2500yen cover charge which includes one free drink.
