Hyperbol Goes Into Public Beta
Made by four buds in their basement, Hyperbol shows a love for classic gaming conventions and a desire for experimental design. From the looks of the promo video, the game seems like a multiplayer version of Tanks, Asteroids, and Ice Hockey, but in a futuristic setting. Hyperbol has just gone into public beta to get some audience feedback on the game.
It took us a while, but we’re finally ready to show the world how this game plays. Our closed beta testers really helped us to fine tune and polish several aspects of the game. They’re really looking forward to open beta so more people can see how great this game is.” said Jason Fader, Iocaine’s President and Lead Designer of ThreadSpace: Hyperbol. “Open beta will test the waters a bit for us. It will help us see how much the game can handle and how large of an interest gamers have in the game. We’re just a team of 4 friends that left our jobs to do what we love, so it’s a bit difficult for us to gauge those factors on our own without funding. We’re hoping the open beta will show us what we need in order to have a successful launch.
Creating a game with your friends that looks this good, is simply beautiful. The indie revolution is at hand. There will be more indie developers surfacing in the next couple of years, to give the big budget gaming companies a run for their money. Viva la revolution!

Nice, guys! You beat out Blues News! Since they’ve been sitting on their thumbs while the bloggers get the word out. So far, the turnout has been amazing, and almost nothing but positive feedback! I hope we see more of you in there come tomarrow!
