Mmmm Autographs
Autographs, such an exciting way to blow your money away. Fruit Brute and I, as mentioned earlier, dashed straight to the celebs while everyone else was watching the Dragon Con parade. Among the signatures I got were:
Capt. Lou Albano: A signed copy of the Super Mario Bros. Super Show and a photo for my dad.
Richard Hatch: Capt. Apollo on the original Battlestar Galactica and Tom Zarek on the new BSG. That was the highlight of my visit as I always watched the re-runs of the show when I was little and am a huge fan of the new series. PS He loves video games, especially Battlefield 1942. That’s awesome.
Tahmoh Penikett: Who is totally hot and a nice guy. He plays Karl Agathon (Helo) in the new Battlestar Galactica series and, apparently, is a Jedi Master Chef. This went to my friend, Jimmy, who I stopped by to visit on my way back to New Orleans from GayGamer Castle.
Unfortunately, I did not get James Callis’ (Gaius Baltar on the new BSG) signature as he left the day before got to him…oh well, next ime!
Oh well, some other stuff I got were all 14 of Miyazaki’s films (The Ghibli Collection) and the Gundam Wing series for $60.00 each. Woot! Thanks to Toots for finding the Ghibli Collection, which led to the Gundam Wing purchase. Taking pictures of people for Team GayGamer was a blast, too! /flex

Yay! Battlestar Galactica!
I’m catching up now—just started Season 2.5.
Hey, did you know that they’re showing twice weekly webisodes on SciFi’s website? I think there are 10 in all. They’re supposed to be chronicles of what happens between season 2 and 3.
I’ll have to watch them all in one sitting, though, since the re-runs of season 2.5 won’t end until right before the new one starts.
Eeeeeee! This show makes me squeal. :-)
Yes, I was made aware of that yesterday. You can be sure I’ll be at SciFi every Tuesday and Thursday!
