Saints Row Tops The Charts In UK
Saints Row is sitting pretty at the no. 1 spot on the UK sales chart in it’s first week of sales. It’s the second fastest selling 360 game in the United Kingdom next to Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter. The game’s success is attributed to aggressive promotion on satellite channels.
Saints Row follows the 3rd Street Saints as they conquer rival gangs, and corrupt officials in the city of Stillwater. Players attempt to build cred on the streets through many different activities. The game looks great visually, but it’s evident that it’s another GTA clone. We’ve seen a bunch of them recently like True Crime and The Godfather, but this is the most obvious copycat of them all.
