Sony Announces Playstation 4
You read that right: Sony has announced that they are planning to release the PS4 in time for this year’s holiday season. According to BBspot, Ken Kutaragi held an unexpected press conference last week and announced the bold business decision, probably due to all snags that Sony has already encountered with the problematic launch of the PS3.
Deciding to forgo the intended release of the much-anticipated PS3 and concentrate on the release of the as-yet unanticipated PS4, Sony has decided to market its new system as “a leap ahead of our competition.”
When asked if this was all one big marketing gimmick, Kutaragi went on to explain that while the specs for the PS4 were not essentially different from the PS3, the price would increase dramatically “to reflect the increase in quality.”
(In case you haven’t figured it out yet: it’s a joke, guys.)
