Tiny Dancer: Big Ole Pageant Queen

Ok, so there wasn’t just gobs and gobs of gaming news to be found on my recent trip to Eastern Europe. Or gay news, for that matter. I tried, my lovelies and lurkers, I really did. The big news in Slovenia is the upcoming release of the Nintendo 64, and all the butch German lady-tourists in Croatia just growled at me when I whipped out my DS Lite. I guess ugly socks, sturdy footwear and mullets are okay, but pearly pink handhelds make a fellow persona non grata. The closest thing I came to gay gaming was watching the Miss Universe Dalmatia pageant on the South Beach-esque island of Hvar. I didn’t understand a single word of the competition, but there were lots of homos watching pretty local ladies vie for a chance to advance to the Miss Universe Croatia finals and from there, you know, to become Miss Universe 2007 herself. Jaegermeister, dead-eyed pageant beauties, and euroqueens a-plenty…what more can a boy ask for?
