Tuesday Morning Eye Candy
Not to be outdone by yesterdays’ PSP eye-candy, Nintendo brings us this slightly homo-fied photo promoting the DS Lite.
Looking at the two pictures side by side, it’s interesting to see the approach that each company has taken to promote their respective handhelds. PSP has gone for the black and white picture of a hunky shirtless male model all in black, while the DS has gone for the color photo of waif-ish homo-erotic boys and girls all in white. Personally, I don’t fall into either of those categories, but I think it says a lot about the products they are promoting and the audiences they are hoping to reach.

Meh, this ad doesn’t do anything for me. It seems like it’s speaking to a demographic they’ve got covered already.
If they wanted to keep reaching out to the Touch Generation target demographic, I could have sent them a pic or two of my other half playing his DS. Nothing says “fun for everyone” like a not-so-middle-aged-anymore chubby hairy guy sprawled out on the couch in his underwear playing Advance Wars and Brain Age.
Well, fun for me, anyway.
Looking at it again, it looks like Zombie chick has no idea whatsoever to do with the thing.
