Wait, Didn’t We Know This About Assassin’s Creed?

As I sit now all alone in the GG castle, the walls are closing in and a sense of anxiety is taking over. Information keeps coming in that everybody else in the gaming press should already know… but apparently don’t.

I’m so confused, so very, very confused. Let’s start with the “news” that Assassin’s Creed will be available for the Xbox 360. I could have sworn this was common knowledge months ago, but even recent articles had it posted as a PS3 “exclusive.” Is the gaming press being delusional, or just completely out of touch, or… oh, we’ll get to that in the fourth paragraph.

Sony, I’m seriously begging you, can we please get some good news from y’all, you are turning us all into raving Xbox and Nintendo fanboys. The madness must stop. This is living? What do you have left – Final Fantasy XIII and MGS4? Sure, they’d be fun, not $600 of fun though. I feel like Zach dealing with Jesse at this point. It’s like an old comrade is slipping away and there is nothing we can do to save him anymore: Absolutely nothing.

Ok, so back to the confusion part, I know I didn’t sign a non-disclosure agreement when I saw Assassin’s Creed (*HAZE* is a different story), so what is this continued bollocks that the same couple screenshots of the 12 century we keep seeing is what the game is about? The mainstream gaming press is playing the players – and I still can’t figure out if it’s because they were asked to keep the plot a surprise or what?

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
