Wii to DS Connectivity Info

Nintendo magazine NGamer recently announced that Spore will be the first Wii game to utilize Wii to DS connectivity. Will Wright has not confirmed Spore on the Wii, but he hinted at the possibility at E3. EA has confirmed that you will be able to link-up play on the DS, to edit your species on the fly.
NGamer has also stated:
(The Wii-mote) Sensor bar is 50% smaller, little bigger than a couple of pencils glued together. Wii-mote’s 6kb of internal memory personalizes your remote – potentially storing things like sensitivity, y-axis settings for FPSs, and even scores and saves. Wii-mote runs on two AA batteries, offering around 60 hours of gameplay. That amount’s reduced to half (around 30 hours) if using the sensor bar though. [Talking about SD cards] “these tiny cards can be used to store game saves and virtual console games, but Digital Right Management features mean you can’t play your games on someone else’s Wii.”

What is with all the bolding? O.O
And why the funky question marks?
Oh, I guess the info was good too. :D
what’s this about “if using the sensor bar though”? how doess it communicate without the sensor bar?
“Digital Right Management features mean you can’t play your games on someone else’s Wii”
I’m relieved to hear you can’t play with someone elses Wii… sorry, I’m such a child, the Wii still has comedy mileage for me.
It’s no suprise that there’s some sort of DRM on the SD cards. Some people seem to be a little distressed about that fact but surely they didn’t expect Nintendo to allow everyone to swap and copy all their VC games on cheap and ubiquitous SD cards?
