Game Tinkerer Creates Portable Jaguar System?

Have you ever heard of Benjamin Heckendorn? The man is a genius. Seriously. He’s featured on Engadget somewhat regularly for his innovative ideas and modifications (my favorite was his Xbox 360 Laptop).
Well, Ben’s gone and done it again: this time he’s created a portable version of the Atari Jaguar. The finished product actually has the Jaguar’s system crammed into a custom-made handheld case, has a slot in the back for Jaguar game cartridges, and is powered by a Lithium-ion battery (no word exactly on how much battery life the console itself has).
Yes that’s right – an Atari Jaguar portable, the system I said I’d never make. But when a good customer asked for one, how could I say no? The sheer audacity of it alone was worth the time.
Is it big and ungainly? Just a little. Is it going to launch its owner into a whole new circle of gaming geekery? Hell yes.

Okay, as much as I hate the 360, that laptop mod is freakin’ sweet.
Now if only the lappy60 ran without that huge power cable.
