Inspector Gadget Art
During my daily romp through the glorious halls of YTMND, I happend upon this incredible Inspector Gadget artwork by Ruben de Vela. Inspector Gadget, so dark, so mysterious!! This is the way I’d like to see him in action someday. The image, though not on the main website itself, is available at his DeviantArt Gallery. His great anime style serves the good inspector well.
Ruben de Vela is a freelance character designer, a good one at that, and has done work for video game companies, art book publishers, and private commissioners. As far as his education goes, he started out studying Applied Physics and switched over to Industrial Design (if you can suggest a good school for that in a city that doesn’t suck, I’ll give you a hug). He also loves real time strategy games, one of my favorite genres, I might add (Rise of Nations FTW!!!). Speaking of video games, here’s a very nice picture of Samus that I just came across on his site. So go stop by his site and take a look around.
