Nintendo's Hidden Song

Yowza. Did you know that for over a decade, Nintendo composer Kazumi Totaka has been hiding one particular tune inside a whole mess o’ games, from Mario Paint to Animal Crossing? I didn’t. Totaka, whose nickname is “Totakeke” after the music-loving dog who provides one version of his secret tune in Animal Crossing, has sneaked this tinny little ditty into games he’s worked on in bizarre ways – for instance, in Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, simply go into Richard’s house for 2 minutes and 30 seconds. How cool is that? 8Bit fans should find this cool and probably exploitable.
