The 2006 Machinima Awards In Second Life

The 2006 Machinima Fest

It’s events like this that makes me want to play Second Life. The Mackies, the 2006 Machinima Festival, will take place in NYC, but it will also be broadcasted in Second Life. This event is made possible by The Electric Sheep Company who have created their virtual theater, the Laguna Beach Theater, where the screening of the Mackies will be held.

So either fly to New York, or log into Second Life on Thursday, November 2nd at 1am GMT/8pm EST/ 5pm PST. On second thought, I think I’ll be there.
