War On Terror: The Boardgame

It really is the end of the world. Especially if you’re into boardgames. War on Terror: The Boardgame challenges you to liberate the world of fear and terrorism (which may require the teensiest bit of fear and a moderate amount of terror to achieve) or, should you choose the left-hand path and play as a terrorist, to strive toward a world free of empires (likewise, this goal may require a certain amount of totalitarian dominance). I like it already; anything with irony, circular logic, and a balaclava of evil is right up my alley. And since it’s Sunday, that’s all I’ll say about what’s up my alley.

Clever! Good sense of tongue-and-cheek humor, equal measures of meanness to both sides of the political spectrum (unless you consider the phrase “War on Terror” a jab at the right, though I’m not so sure about that shrug), and it looks fun to boot. Waiter, I’ll take 2! (One for me, and one for my dad, who is a nice guy, but has absolutely no political sense of humor. Bah. :P)
