Xbox 360 Pushes HDMI Support
Recently Microsoft announced that a software upgrade will allow the 360 to support 1080p games and videos. More details have surfaced regarding HD support. They have confirmed that digital 1080p content will be delivered through an HDMI cable connection.
This means that the Xbox 360 will officially move into the digital race with the PS3. Both consoles will be able to deliver full 1080p support for HDMI compatible television sets. Great move for Microsoft, this will really close the gap between the systems. We are moving into a fully digital age, and console gaming is no exception.
