XLA Winter Lineup Announced
According to IGN, Microsoft has announced the lineup for the winter version of Xbox Live Arcade. According to the article, Lumines Live (released today), Ultimate Mortal Komat 3, and Contra are all on the list. While IGN wasn’t provided with actual release dates, many of them can be seen at the Xbox Live Arcade game catalog
I’m really looking forward to Bejeweled 2 (yeah, I know it’s already out, but I recently got my 360 back on the web and want to buy it next time I take the console for a spin) and Contra, the former to feed my addictive personality and the latter to revel in the nostalgia of my lost youth… though I want to know if the “Konami Code” is gong to feature into Contra.

Since Contra is a port of the arcade game, as opposed to the NES version, it probably won’t have the code.
They’d get fewer quarters if it did. :)
Bejeweled 2 has been out for quite some time now, unless you mean you’re looking forward to it cause you don’t have a 360 yet..?
It’s fun, but the colors make my eyes want to bleed at times. And the achievements seem really hard to get, I’ve only managed a few so far.
Actually, I have a 360… I just haven’t had it hooked up to an internet connection until recently. Hence my desire for Bejeweled 2. Sorry, I should’ve clarified that in the article.
Um, I was looking at the list of games and nowhere on there did I see Mortal Kombat 3. Did you mean Street Fighter?
