Best Buy Wii Display
While I was out scouting around for people waiting for the PS3 in New Orleans, I decided to drop into Best Buy to see if they had a PS3 or Wii display. There was no PS3, but I did get to see a Wii! I like the displays given to Gamestops and EBs better,among other reasons, the wiimotes arent tethered down, so you actually get the full experience. And besides that, having such a HUGE display just defeats the purpose of having such a small console.
Cerberus, EB and Gamestop can leave the controllers untethered because there are people around to make sure nobody walks off with them. Best Buy is too big to keep an eye on it.
It’s still cool, though.
Oooo Shiny!
Ive seen numerous playable ps3’s around town, but only 2 playable wii kiosks, both being in an EB store. You have to give them your license to play it, which i though was just a rumor. PS3’s on the other hand are playable in Target’s here. And non playable kiosks are set up in Walmarts.
I think its really selfish to use PS3s on Kiosks when Sony should have used those to fill promised preorders.
