Elite Beat Agents DS Commercial
I don’t think anyone could ever explain to you exactly what kind of game Elite Beat Agents actually is. It would be like trying to explain to someone how to live life and, much like life, Elite Beat Agents must be played to be fully understood. But apparently Nintendo is having a hard time explaining it themselves in this new commercial. Having played Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan, the Japanese game that this is based on, I have a fair idea of how this quirky rhythm game works. This commercial doesn’t come within a mile of making the viewer understand the game, but it’s cute and catchy nonetheless. Due to an unfortunate song list though, (ok, not every song is terrible) I will be importing the Japanese version and leave Elite Beat Agents to those with a penchant for Ashlee Simpson and Cher.

I loved the original, and I’m going to love the heck out of this one. Or at least I hope so.
Whether you like Cher or not, she sure as hell doesn’t deserve to be in the same sentence as Ashlee Simpson.
Also, if someone asks what Elite Beat Agents is? Just tell them that it’s a “rhythm game”. See? That wasn’t so hard. :)
Well, unfortunately, I don’t think EBA is just a “rhythm game” there is so much more to it than that…
i kept the demo on my ds for a couple of days, it was very addictive.
I also have the demo on my DS currently, and I can’t bear to turn off the power. It’s incredibly silly and fun. A great use of the DS touchscreen, and I hope this game sells well.
