Enter The Wiicessories
Is it me, or do all of these Wii accessories look like futuristic birthing implements? All we’re missing is a Wii-speculum… where was I? Oh yes, wiicessories. We knew about a steering wheel (although the white one fits the system’s look better, methinks), but now JoyTech is planning the release of golf grip, racing grip, and racket grip, as well as Wii Silicon Gloves (is it safe?) to keep your Wiimote or Wiicessory tightly in hand. It all sounds rather unnecessary to me, except perhaps the racing grip, which admittedly looks pretty sweet. Vroom! JoyTech is also pushing out something called the Wii Power Station – with dual battery packs, ports for recharging, and a retractable nunchuck cable. That all sounds great if it’s designed to be small and unobtrusive. The last thing we need next to the one tiny discreet console around is a big honkin’ accessory rack. Unless it’s a big honkin’ adult-themed Wiicessory, but that seems awfully unlikely. Jeff Stryker Gaming Division, call me.
