Fantastic Flash: WiiCade

WiiCade is new to the Flash scene. It was developed as an avenue to implement Flash games on the Wii. This collection of games is a good example of evaluating the strengths of the system, and designing accordingly. While most of the games aren’t terribly exciting to play them with a mouse, the freedom of movement of the Wii Remote should provide an added dimension to the gameplay.
Curve Ball should be great on the system. It’s standard fare pong, but it will be a good challenge with the Wii-mote.
Pursuit Is quite creative. It’s an independent adventure game, a WiCade addition to Phoenix Wright type gameplay.
WiiCade will be available to play on the Wii once the Opera browser is released for download on the Wii Connect 24 Channel.

I’ll be more impressed by this site when (a) Opera for the Wii is actually available and (b) they go a year or two without being sued by Nintendo for trademark infringement.
I hope Nintendo would embrace a site like this. If the games are fun, it could bring something else to the system.
short circuit is amazing.
Ellipsis is a cute Geometry Wars / Wii Remote mashup. But they’ll need to crank the speed up on that thing. My pointing and clicking skills on the remote have been finely tuned by Zelda.
