Flash Mania: Grow Cube
I tried to escape the addictive tendrils of this delicious flash game, but my weak will was no match for Grow Cube. It’s deceptively simple. The game starts with no explanation.
The game begins with a simple cube and 10 buttons with various objects on them, from a little man to fire, a bone, a pipe, etc. After clicking on an object, it is tossed onto the cube and begins interacting with other objects on the cube. The men begin digging waterways, trees start growing, and the cube becomes a little microcosm of precious animations. The goal is to max out all of the objects on the cube, by pressing the buttons in the correct order.
After a few rounds you begin to see the relationships between the various objects. The order of operations becomes the puzzle, and that’s when you get hooked. Be careful, this isn’t for the week willed, beware the Grow Cube!

YAY I just got the perfect ending. So much fun. It actually made logical sense!
This Flash designer is a genius. I’ve known about him since the first Grow, and he’s brilliant. Check out the other Grows—the original is by far the hardest—as well as the terrific point-and-click puzzle game Chronon.

im having a hard time getting the perfect ending, so far I can only get half perfect…
I’ll give you a hint, always start with the man.

its really fun, but i can only get to the second stage or whatever. i can only get to after the part when they all flip the blocks. why did it stop there?
I remember playing the RPG one. I got to say, it is easier to see how different objects affect each other in the RPG version.

I CAN’T DO IT! But I get soooo close! Grrr, my guys finally make the golden ball, but they can’t do anything with it with me! Arg! Can someone please tell me what the button is that I am supposed to save for last! Please?

This is so great. I had to cheat and find the solution because I have the patience of a fruit fly but it’s still neat.

Another tip,
the bowl/treehouse is completely independent of the rest. It will simply level up each turn until max.
So is the last item the ball or the spring? It seems like I ALMOST finish it every time! I’m SO CLOSE, yet so far away…
If you guys hear on the news that some crazed guy went on a murderous rampage after unsuccessfully completing a flash game – you know who it is.
Wow, this is harder than it looks. I haven’t been able to get the thing to finish. The farthest I’ve gotten is a golden ball popping out of the barrel, but I can’t figure out the correct order to put things.
OMG! I got it on my first try today! I can die happy now…
So, how far does this thing go? What’s the last thing that happens? So far, I’ve gotten to the point where the golden ball turns the water gold, and the bottom of the cube turns into a giant horned toad. It’s a very fun, and addictive glash game, I have to admit.
I just don’t get it. I actually got the farthest on my first try, but after that, I just can’t figure it out, and it doesn’t help that you have to go through all of the animations every time you reset.
Once you get the perfect ending, try getting the worst possible ending! So far I’ve been able to keep everything from leveling up except bowl (lvl 2), fire (lvl 2), and pot (lvl 3).
FINALLY. Sheesh. Took me long enough. I kept getting stuck at golden ball. Whee for lizard!
Hooray!I got the best ending! What a fun little game. Now they just need to come up with more levels and put it on the DS and it will be the cult hit of the year!
Uh… these games are terrible. I’m getting nothing done today… workwise…

Hint: Figure out which items level up on their own, and place them as late as you can.
Hint2: The men need to do something every turn.
I finally freaking got it. So entertaining.
