Rumor: Target's Wii Numbers Released On Web
Oh, man, I would love to be a fly on the wall at the next board of directors’ meeting at Target to find out how they’re planning to react to this leak:
A Target employee has released a list and a decyphering key to the net, containing the supposed number of Wii’s hitting each Target store across the nation. While this is all well and good, it’s needless complex due to the fact that it’s a long string of numbers we have to spend time looking up. As a result, WickedSick.org has posted the “Wii Finder”, which lets you search out your local Target stores by city. The numbers for the stores near my town are pretty high: they range from 60 to 120 consoles… while that may seem a little high, it actually sounds pretty reasonable since Nintendo has promised a million units for launch and approximately 4 million by the end of the year.
