Where My Wii At?
Last year’s Xbox 360 Live Inventory Locator (which is still running strong, in case you’re suddenly in need of an Xbox 360 and have inventory paranoia) has a little brother, the Nintendo Wii Locator. Creator Chris Lambert has set up a system that exploits Target inventory numbers, which have been released on a per-store basis (as per the rumor we posted earlier, only simplified). Last year over 1,200 gamers found an Xbox 360 this way – just drop in your zip code and see how many individual Wiis will be carried at each of your local Target stores. It’d be great if this tool had a longer reach than one company, but it’s better than nothing and the good lord knows we’ve got more Targets than we know what to do with. It’s about time the metastasized cancer of materialism and urban sprawl worked in our favor…

42 is the average, supposedly. ALL of my Targets around here are getting fewer than 42 Wiis…. except the one closest to me, which is getting 51 \:D/
Try Sears. Often they sell games and such and nobody knows they do.
Mine will hopefully have 210. So Im going to camp out and grab one. Then donate a gamecube to a children’s hospital.
Great app, and exciting news. Stories of Toys R Us’s getting 20 each had me concerened, but 210 at my nearby mall will go a long way.
