Worms To Infest Xbox Live Arcade

Worms! Remember Worms? And Worms 2? Worms 3D? Worms 4: Mayhem, Worms Armageddon, Worms World Party, or Worms: Open Warfare? No? Maybe Worms Forts: Under Siege? If you remember any of those games, congratulations, you’re an artard. No, no, you’re not; I kid. The Worms games are a great example of a silly, addicting (eat it, anti-gerund linguo-fascists) franchise that is apparently as hard to kill as, well, actual worms.
While cruising for fresh new pics of my fiancee Robert Summa (I don’t care what the others say, I love a bad boy), I noticed the Summanator has a thing for Worms himself. (Ahem.) While this discovery renewed my hope for an April wedding in Paris, as well as a few…wormier activities…it also pointed me toward this quote from Team 17 director Martyn Brown concerning his studio’s work on their upcoming release of the classic 2D Worms onto Xbox Live Arcade:
The game is in final certification stages btw, yes it’s pretty much all finished apart from any last bugs they find. MS has a schedule of releases and we’ll soon find out how we fit into that. Our first digital-platform release (ie. non retail, download only) is Lemmings 2 for PS3, very shortly.
Worms and Lemmings 2? Bobby, B-Summz, Summster…c’mere. Let Tiny give you some sugar.

Glee! I’ve been referenced! and linguistically bitch-slapped!
XD
Only lovingly, on both counts. We sticklers need to stick together! :-D
Speaking of fascist sticklerism, you’re not using “addicting” as a gerund but as a participle.

Worms is sweet, at least till you get too far into the sequels, but I’m still holding out for Scorched Earth to appear on the DS.
