Animal Crossing... The Movie?
Animal Crossing is a lot of fun to play, if you’re like me, and like endless tedious tasks with a modicum of reward awaiting you. For the same reason that MMORPG’s can suck my life away, task-based games like Animal Crossing are also extremely dangerous for my social life.
But if there is one thing that Animal Crossing doesn’t have much of, it’s story. Somehow, the powers that be have found a way to make a movie out of it. Looks like something between Spirited Away and Fruits Basket with a cuteness factor that can only be attained in Japan. My favorite moment is the debonair look of the white dog with the big eyebrows, strumming his guitar in the crisp night air.
Don’t miss the contest with unclear rules that you will never be able to enter at the very end!

Actually, it’s an anime series. Think of it as a children’s slice of life animation with weird shenanigans all over town. It’s cute :)
so there’s already been an anime series and now this is the movie version? wow, they really pumped all they could out of this one!
