Broken Pixels Take On Wii
I miss the days of Mystery Science Theater 3000 with Joel, Mike and crew tearing up endless reels of B-movies in the Satellite of Love. Thankfully the crew at Broken Pixels have taken the helm and set their incendiary commentary on the video game screen. The Broken Pixels team is comprised of EGM’s Executive Editor Shane Bettenhausen, EGM’s Senior Editor Crispen Boys and Seanbaby himself. They picked two turkeys for this video, Necro-Nesia and Red Steel.
Necro-Nesia provides enough fodder for an entire firing squad. I was interested in this game until I saw it in action, it looks stinkerific. My favorite line, happens when they see the roach creatures for the first time, “Jesus Christ, that’s the scariest vagina I’ve ever seen.” Their commentary on the combat, “This game will revolutionize how we poke the ground with sticks.”
For the second segment, they tear apart Red Steel’s tutorial, which seems to last for about 3 weeks. After a bout with the terrible controls, “Take the breast pump and the dildo, play this f*cking future of gaming.” Indeed.

how old are these guys…like 33? and almost every joke has to do with homosexuality (including one dude calling the other guy a fag). egh.
That video was junk. It was painful to watch, and their “jokes” were disgusting…
Yeah, this is like MST3K minus the brain cells.
They didn’t need to have Altered Beast in the intro. Everyone knows it is a Sega Masterpiece.
I found the humor pretty funny at times though.
I have to admit I laughed at some of it but if I were in that room I’d probably feel pretty uncomfortable with some of the jokes. I’m surprised Crispen even took part in this honestly. I’ve been an EGM reader for years and asshole-funny-guy never seemed to fit his personality. Where’s ‘Shoe’?
