Dragon Quest IX Announced For The DS
Sony fanboys, hold on to your hats, Nintendo fanboys, get ready to cheer! The Dragon Quest franchise has forsaken its Sony roots and will be producing its next title, Dragon Quest IX: Defender of the Starry Sky for the DS. This is a surprising move for Square-Enix, although, with their recent creation of other popular DS titles, it makes sense that they would bring Japan’s favorite RPG together with Japan’s favorite portable gaming system. Dragon Quest and Nintendo DS: Two great tastes that taste great together!

Good, because my DS needs some new RPG lovin.’ That’s the one thing the system lacks.
Is it just me or is the DS becoming the new home for RPG lovin’? Children of Mana, FFIII, FF:Crystal Chornicles, Dragon Quest IX, Magical Starsign. Ah it’s music to my ears.

Say what? The main series installments have traditionally appeared first on Nintendo platforms. Some installments of the main series has been remade for the PS1 and PS2. The only ones to break this rule are 7 and 8, which are Sony Platform exclusive. Tons of spin-off material has been made for a bunch of platforms, including Sony.

Yeah, DQ’s roots is in Nintendo.
Anyway, I think mroe RPGs are going to DS because the DS has a better battery life and gives ease to gameplay interaction with the touch screen.
I’m very glad I opted for DS and not PSP. I’m getting sooooo much loving right now. (^-^ )
