Esca: Video Game Nerd Hotness

Our robot brothers at Destructoid are featuring an Interview with Esca, hardcore gamer, anime freak, cosplayer and all around sexy thang. He is also a regular on Pure Pwnage and makes all his own costumes and accessories. His NES backpack is the stuff of dreams. Despite his outward appearance, Esca likes the ladies. Sorry, boys, you’ll have to settle for pictures!
Many of the commenters over on Destructoid have gone out of their way to trash him and make fun and regale him with the typical “fag” jokes. Personally, I admire him. He has the balls to put himself out there and dress up and live his life the way he wants to, something I think that members of the gay community can more than understand. I say keep on keepin’ on, Esca, do your thing and don’t let the close minded pricks get you down.
Check out his interview for a more in depth look into the mind of a hardcore game geek.

All the straight boys wish they looked half as good as he does. God damn if he isn’t fangirl bait. Hmm, wonder what it would take to make him a convention guest…
well they’re bashing him because, how do i put this. the gamer world lacks unfat non-unattractive members…
Very handsome but waaaay too skinny for my tastes. Though I do wish I had muscle tone like that!
it was mostly new signups bashing him. they were probably a handful of social rejects from the gamefaqs message board. not worth getting worked up about. :D
It’s very hard to find good male cosplayers. He definately have the Bisho body and anime fashion sense to pull it off. Just a shame he doesn’t guide us through some of his costume creation.
/slurp.
What Voltris said pretty much sums up my thoughts on how it went down. People can be cowardly online.
As a guy who runs around with a robot helmet to promote what he loves I can definitely say I’ve had my share of that. In the end you just do what you love and tune all that out. All that road less traveled shit makes me a happy person.
