Katamari Coming To Wii/360?

The January edition of Electronic Gaming Monthly contains a rumor that Katamari could soon be rolling over and onto the Wii and Xbox Live Arcade. I can envision the Wii version being fun and cute, but will the controls be a bit…I dunno, weird?
I, personally, think it’d be more at home on the Xbox 360 and could probably make a killing. ...but I wonder, will it be a new game or a port of the original? We can only hope that director, Keita Takahashi will be helming these, if they are indeed on the way…but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Of course! The king uses pilates to keep his legs so svelt.
Katamari would be a perfect fit for the Wii. Just tilt the wii-mote in the direction you want to roll the ball. Or, if you want to simulate the “fork-lift” style controls from the other Katamri games, you could move the wii-mote and nunchuk as if they were the 2 analog sticks.
In any case, more Katamari is always a good thing.
I always thought the controls were one of the few weak points in Katamari (hello, this is a rolling ball game, not Battle Zone), so I’d be fine with a “tilt to control” concept.
Wii seems a totally perfect match for Katamari, to me. I like the “forklift” control idea, and would match the PS2’s control setup pretty perfectly.
OK OK, I suppose it wouldn’t be so weird on the Wii. Like you could flick the controller up to stop, press A to get the hig hview and all sorts of other stuff. ...still, could be neat to have available for both systems, but an original by the same director would be mighty fine.
Unfortunatly, I think I saw an interview with the creator, and he said something about Me and My Katamari being the last one he would work on.
