Left Behind Gets Second Coming Scheduled

Let’s be honest: none of us really expected Left Behind: Eternal Forces to be any good. Given that the game’s been the equivalent of a financial black hole for investors thanks to its bloated development, the only thing that could surprise anyone would be if it got greenlit for a sequel…
...oh, Goddammit.
The shocking thing about the sequel is that it seems Big Huge Games, the company behind Rise of Nations and Rise of Legends, has been contracted to develop the next PC strategy title in the Left Behind franchise.
I’ll say this much: at least Left Behind Games has realized that sometimes you have to spend money to make money and is going with a group that actually knows the genre. While having a technically playable and decent-looking game is part of the recipe for success, I think the investors have forgotten that a lot of the gaming world is populated by godless sinners like yours truly.
Granted, if the game’s good, I can probably bring myself to overlook objectionable story material if I get to call down some angels to blow the hell out of my opponent’s bases. Oooh… even better: maybe I can play as the bad guys in the multiplayer version and instead call up demons to obey my nefarious will and lay waste to New York City.
Sequel announced for Left Behind PC game [Aeropause]

I’d rather just lay waste to Kirk Cameron.
Overlook objectionable story material? Do you adhere to any moral or ethical standards at all? This game is just so wrong, and that is setting aside the gay angle.
