If there’s one hobby we all love to indulge in here at GG, it’s amateur porn photography interior decorating. Racketboy, a gaming-lifestyle site, has put up a guide to decorating one’s gaming/living room in a classy and artful manner while staying on a modest budget:
Sometimes it can be a challenge to find high-quality gaming artwork that you don’t have to import from Japan and/or doesn’t look like something a 12-year-old would have in their bedroom. So far, the most original and more affordable (but mostly unknown) way to accomplish a modern and sophisticated look with gaming artwork is a photography of game-inspired toys and figures.
Not only does the article some great ideas, but they also provide a series of Flickr links for people too lazy/not talented enough to take their own gaming photos. The photo sources run the gamut of geekiness, ranging from action figures (some of which look eerily CG when placed in well-lit areas) to industrial design-esque photos of consoles and controllers.

Our living room has a full-sized gay pride flag over the piano, and two framed Roger Dean posters on the walls. (You know, Shadow of the Beast, Tales from Topographic Oceans…. that guy.) I think that if you care about people thinking your space was designed by a 12-year-old, you might as well check yourself into a nursing home already.
